COUNTDOWN TO 2021 CHRISTUS HEALTH PRO CHALLENGE BEGINS Women’s Professional Tennis Returns to East Texas Oct. 25-31
Tyler, TX (October 11, 2021) – The Christus Health Pro Challenge, an $80k USTA Women’s Pro Circuit Event, will return to Tyler Athletic & Swim Club October 25-31, 2021 and will feature 100 of the top players from around the world. With more than 100 tournaments throughout the country, the USTA Pro Circuit is the largest developmental tennis circuit in the world and is on the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players.

Past competitors have used the tournament as a springboard to compete on the biggest stages of professional tennis, with names such as Sofia Kenin, Amanda Anisimova, Kristie Ahn, Caty McNally and Belinda Bencic having played in Tyler. Ann Li took home the singles title in 2020 and recently held a career-high world ranking of 66 in August, 2021.
